Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. Biles was the very first American female gymnast ever to win four gold medals at a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles together with her twins Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents from Houston. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was a six-year-old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the following 11 years. Biles won a gold medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of gymnastics competition. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles was notable for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of difficulty that she included throughout each competition--vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercise.
