Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies typically in the horror and martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and after she gained some fame (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The channel was online until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! She appeared as well. The appearances she made during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to join the reviewer family. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
