Annette Funicello was an American performer and a singer from the United States. The most well-known part of her career was as "one of the original Mouseketeers" in the Mickey Mouse Club. The singer's career began as an young adolescent. Annette was born and was raised by Italian immigrants in Utica as a child and is an extremely timid person. When she decided to pursue working in the business began doing dance and performed. The mid-1950s saw her appeared in several 'Disney' sketches as an actor in the group known as "Mouseketeers" and gained considerable recognition. Annette shed her Disney image as she got older and began taking the stage in adult roles. Since she was one of the early performers, Annette was recognized with introducing the "beach" type of entertainment. She appeared on films including "How to Stuff a Unruly Bikini.'
